From Russa with Love?

This from the Russian newspaper, Pravda. (click on the title to read the entire article)

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people

Obama Is Said to Consider Preventive Detention Plan

By SHERYL GAY STOLBERG
Published: May 20, 2009

WASHINGTON — President Obama told human rights advocates at the White House on Wednesday that he was mulling the need for a “preventive detention” system that would establish a legal basis for the United States to incarcerate terrorism suspects who are deemed a threat to national security but cannot be tried, two participants in the private session said.

tooo much government, comment to the next post

There is a danger to those who manufacture these mandated poison pills. This is worse for the people that make them than the sweat shops that make shoes, which received a lot of press for a while then fell off the radar.. We are being forced to have them in our homes as well.

Have you looked up the disposal policy in your community? Mine doesn't have facilities to dispose of this hazardous waste. They say to put it in the trash to be hauled to the land fill.

Have you read the EPA guidelines on what to do if a bulb breaks in your home (Got kids?) Scary stuff, more unintentional consequences of government intervention.

I wonder how much energy is used to produce these bulbs. Is there a real carbon savings?

One site I read stated they do not last as long as advertised. If you operate them like a normal bulb, they don't.

Mercury poisoning is happening in China and anywhere these things are used.

more on the flu

Worth reading in order to stay aware and informed Especially about Tamiflu, as always take the good infor, leave the other

Subject: Swine Flu
Importance: High

Greetings,

For all of my conspiracy loving friends here is my latest take on what is going on in the world. Call me nuts but it sure makes sense to me!!!

A couple of weeks ago Mexico was on the verge of collapse with drug lords doing battle at our southern border. Texas was talking about seceding from the US, and Tea parties were brewing all over the US. Obama heads to Mexico April 16-17 to have a little chat. April 24, seven days later, (which is the incubation period for the so called swine flu) andemic hysteria hits.
No more drug wars in Mexico because people are sick, dying, and the healthy ones are locked in their homes washing their hands and wearing masks.
The first US death reported is in Texas. I guess Texans will need "federal funds" to fight the flu battle.
The rest of the US has been advised to wash their hands and stay away from large crowds. (Protests and tea parties?) As many of you know, I've done a bit of virology research in the past and this whole swine thing doesn't add up. Wrong time of year. The H1N1 strain has many scientists scratching their heads.
Without going into a lot of scientific mumbo jumbo this might explain what we are seeing today.
http://www.virology.ws/2009/03/02/origin-of-current-influenza-h1n1-virus/

Why were the viral genomes of the 1977 H1N1 isolate and the 1950 virus so similar? If the H1N1 viruses had been replicating in an animal host for 27 years, far more genetic differences would have been identified. The authors suggested several possibilities, but only one is compelling:
It is possible that the 1950 H1N1 influenza virus was truly frozen in nature or elsewhere and that such a strain was only recently introduced into man.

The suggestion is clear:
the virus was frozen in a laboratory freezer since 1950, and was released, either by intent or accident, in 1977. This possibility has been denied by Chinese and Russian scientists, but remains to this day the only scientifically plausible explanation.

And Dr. Peter Petermann said today on a Promed post..
http://www.promedmail.org/pls/otn/f?p=2400:1000:
Thus, H1N1 from Mexico may be a swine flu virus strain of entirely American origin, possibly even of relatively ancient origin.

Now that we know a little about the virus how do we protect ourselves? This is how I'm going to fight H1N1.
I went to the health food store and bought Black Elderberry Syrup, a box of oscillococcinum, and some Kyolic garlic. The elderberry is an immune booster and virus killer, garlic is a natural antibiotic and does a number on viruses. Oscillo is the number one homeopathic flu remedy in Europe.

If you have those 3 things at your disposal you should be able to fight the flu without using government issued Tamaflu. Tamaflu, (chemical name...Oseltamivir) has serious side effects. They have all but banned the stuff in Japan because of the psychoneurological side effects. Why? Kids in Japan were killing themselves after taking Tamaflu. Here is more research for you....

The Food and Drug Administration also issued a MedWatch report, warning that people with the flu, particularly children, "may be at an increased risk of self-injury and confusion shortly after taking Tamiflu [oseltamivir] and should be closely monitored for signs of unusual behavior." If a patient taking oseltamivir displays any unusual behavior, a health care professional "should be contacted immediately," the FDA recommended.<<<

I hope you find this information helpful. Good luck to everyone and God help us all!
